Alt Brew Coffee was founded with one purpose: to explore what lies beyond the boundaries of conventional specialty coffee.
We curate coffees and brewing experiences that challenge expectations, from fine Robustas and rare Liberica varietals, to anaerobic fermentations and experimental co-fermentation processes. Our catalogue is a rotating collection of coffees that don’t just taste different, they make you rethink what coffee can be.
We work with independent roasters and producers around the world who are as curious as we are, and bring their boldest ideas to life through limited drops and alternative brews. From rare species to unusual post-harvest techniques and non-traditional brewing methods, every product we release is chosen to surprise, inspire, and invite you to taste outside the lines.
Based in Singapore, Alt Brew Coffee is for those who want more than “just another great cup.” It’s for the ones chasing new origins, new processes, and new perspectives, through coffee.

What is co-fermented coffee?
Co-fermented coffee beans blends science, microbiology and nature to create notes that elevates a conventional brew.
It’s a post-harvest process where carefully selected ingredients - like fruits, herbs, or sugars - are introduced during fermentation. This doesn’t flavour the coffee artificially; instead, it enhances or transforms the bean’s inherent character through natural microbial activity. The result? Clean cups that might remind you of blueberry wine, tropical kombucha, or cacao nibs, yet remain 100% coffee.
